Launched in May 2012, South Ribble Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector Network is a sector led group that provides a forum for all voluntary, community and faith sector organisations in South Ribble.
Established as a result of the dissolution of Chorley and South Ribble Council for Voluntary Service in 2011, the Network is open to all voluntary, community and faith groups in South Ribble and is there to;
- Share information and improve communication
- Share good practice
- Improve partnership working
- Be involved in consultation, planning and delivery of the local Sustainable Community Strategy
Following extensive consultation and planning, South Ribble Partnership has provided funding to help establish the Network; facilitate a launch event and run a series of workshops and network meetings to raise awareness amongst the Voluntary, Community and Faith sector in the Borough.
Following a successful launch event, the Network continues to grow from strength to strength.
If you are a local group/organisations in the voluntary, community and faith sector in South Ribble and would like to know more about the network, you can contact them;
